Hello and welcome to my webpage! 

My name is Mrs. Tammy Casey and I am a Mathematics Teacher at Lake Placid Central School.  I am also the proud mother of one little boy - Logan, who is currently 5, and have been married to my husband, Shawn for 7 years.

I have been teaching at Lake Placid for 11 years (this is my 12th year)!!!  I have taught many courses including Algebra, Geometry, Intro to Algebra, Intro to Geometry, Intro to Advanced Algebra, Algebra 2 and Trig, College Algebra (NCCC Bridge) and Business Math.  My goal is to make math enjoyable and use technology to help along the way.

I love teaching math and also teach and share my love of math outside of Lake Placid.  In January of 2013, I became a Texas Instruments T^3 Instructor (Teachers Teaching with Technology).  I am very excited about this, since I have been working for many year to achieve this goal.  I also teach Algebra at the University of Phoenix Online and have presented many sessions on the TI nspire and how to make factoring easier at various professional conferences throughout New York State.
