New Web Address for Parent Log in for Powerschool!

Over the holiday break, our student data system, Powerschool, was upgraded. This change did result in a new web address for the parent log in page and a new address for the Lake Placid Central School District web address.  The district page can be reached via www.lakeplacidcsd.net or

http://lpds-ny.schoolloop.com/.  To reach the parent log in page, your previous bookmark may no longer be accurate.  You may have to enter http://lpscd.powerschool.com/public. The parent log in can also be reached from a link on the district's main page:  www.lakeplacidcsd.net 

Middle and High School Student of the Month

             STUDENTS OF THE MONTH

Each month during the school year, faculty and staff select four students for Student of the Month-two high school and two middle school level students.  Students are chosen based on one or more of the criteria as follows:  demonstrates exemplary leadership skills, has shown great improvement in academics and attitude, good attendance, respect to peers and adults, shows compassion, displays honesty, and/or makes a contribution to the community or school.  Congratulations--we are proud of you!  (Don't forget to check out our most excellent Student of the Month Bulletin Boards located on the 2nd floor stairwell of the Middle High School)
